Simple: a world where humans do not exploit non-human animals. A world where animals are free to exist in their own right. We promote a lifestyle that excludes, as far as possible and practical, all forms of exploitation of - and cruelty to - animals for the purposes of food, clothing or anything else.We also want a just world for humans. A world where resources are utilised in a sustainable way to ensure all current and future generations are provided for - a world where no one goes hungry. At the heart of the sustainability and food justice agenda is plant-based food production and consumption: veganism.add contact details

when it works it's great but...it really lags and seems to have bugs. it is very slow. it hasn't been updated for 3 years...urgently needs a refresh!

Honestly I found Google Translate infinitely more useful when on holiday, I really don't see the point in this app at all, it just has 1 piece of txt translated for you which I would find too embarrassing to show someone & some lame pictures. That's the whole app! Google Translate will do a better job & you can photograph ingredients lists which it will also translate. Don't waste your money.

So I'm a vegan but my boyfriend is not. We're travelling together and I've downloaded this to help find food for me in restaurants where he'll also have options to eat things he likes. But the text states WE are vegan. If I need this to communicate, how am I to ensure we don't both get vegan meals or if I'm gesturing to him saying no, it will just confuse people as to who is the vegan! This is extremely low tech and outdated, there should be an option to easily select I or we. Also the text comes across a bit condescending if you're showing it to a chef and instructing them to "get creative!". Either keep it short and sweet or offer more in depth suggestions such as replacing chicken with cauliflower, mince with beans, etc. Disappointing app that could be so much more with a little investment.

Life saver when on holiday. I could just show them the app, the read and talk to chef. Was perfect and best app I have ever spent money on.

Handy to have on your phone but there are a number of issues that need sorting out: 1, Splash screen shows for too long and can't be clicked away. 2, The translated text is too small to read. 3, The app should not require all those permissions to run! Also, horizontal swiping between pages would be good. I think it also needs other features - eg, find vegan-friendly restaurants (location-based and basic lookup), etc. in order to justify the price tag. :-)
